What machine to buy?

which is why having a forum with two big vendors, and dudes that are big into detailing comes in handy! God Bless America, fuck ISIS!!!!!!!!!!!

Word I had shine supply classic cut and a megs 5 inch cutting pad and it definitely made the paint hazy needed a final polish with a foam pad

This is pretty common when using a compound especially on black. It's why when I'm detailing a car I start with a polish then work my way up as necessary

I did, I found a coupon too, so $41, $7 shipping and $4 tax so $52 shipped

Fuck it, if I get a all 3 cars done before it shits on me, still worth it! I'll start off with it...now, for all the shit that goes along with it?

Pads, etc gotta start watching all the detail threads.

Basically there is two main players microfiber and foam. It's pretty widely known that microfiber can cut faster but foam finishes cleaner. I used a combo of both but am finding out you can never have enough pads. Surbuf pads are suppose to be super strong and lake country has a 6.5in wool pad too but idk if you need anything that heavy a minorly swirled car can usually be cleaned up with a foam cutting pad and the right compound or polish

If you decide with those ^ you need to get a 5.5 backing plate as well
Edit^ just for the middle foam one, my bad
