Dakota's build thread

5'8" box is really only enough to haul the aids they spew, I absolutely despised mine and wish I could have found someone who wanted to do a swap and had a 6'6" bed, normal bed on my 1500 nbs cc would have been perfect truck for me

I literally don't use my bed for anything but to haul my toolbox. Lol.
tell him to cut the denali valance.
Yea I showed him yours and he said your truck was what made him do that front end. I showed him how you sectioned your valance and he said he liked it.

I still don't really know what brett did to his bumper. I know he did some cutting but I can't really tell what. I think with it being black, so close to the road, shadows etc it really makes it hard to tell what he did

Guess I'd have to see bumper to bumper I mean I know you cut something on bottom but can't really tell what's missing

Now I really regret not keeping mine fgt.
:cheeky:
Thanks. That's the point

I love yours. Normally not a fan of how low they hang compared to the rocker.
Front is mucho bueno now.

My mind is MUCH more dirty. :naughty:
Gracias.

There is a weird gap above the drivers side headlight. I though my other hood just fit shitty because it wasn't oem but this one fits good everywhere but over the headlight. I think the core support might be fucky since the truck has been wrecked before.

The gap between the hood and grille is off also. Just plastidip the grille and wings white for now, it matches surprisingly good. That's what I did my mirror caps at first because it was just too cold to paint them when I swapped to the DL3s lol.

Yea that's what I was talking about lol. The gap on the sides by the fenders looks good on both sides but in the front, the passenger side is good and the drivers side has a gap. Leading me to believe the core support on the drivers side is sagging or damaged causing everything on that side to sag a little. Im gonna try to look at it tomorrow before work if I have time.

I may plasti dip it. I love that satin silver color. Wish I could just paint the rest of the truck to match the grille lol

Finally got the truck tuned the other night. Gonna retune tomorrow, had to pick up some new plugs yesterday as the old ones were fouled from running the headers without a tune. Already runs much much better. It's like driving a different truck

Planning on doing new inner tre's tomorrow too since one of mine is bent.

Truck got new inner tie rods, plugs and a tune over the weekend.

Ordered powerstop front and rear kit today. Should be here next Tuesday. Probably gonna order a billet bowtie soon aswell. I need to figure out the hood gap, it's either the radiator support sagging or the hood hinge is bent. Also want to pick up a cheap buffer and try to put some lipstick on this pig
