I use ones similar to these. Just a high temp cover. Also how old are your wires? Driving from sea level to above 3000' could be a fuel problem but I'm not certain.

Charcoal lower dash panels for center jump seat. Glove box isn't attached needs only 2 rivets. Has two screw holes in the panel below steering wheel. I'm guessing for a brake controller. Located in baytown tx i10 and spur 330. Prefer local because I'm lazy and don't want to ship. $75 OBO

That clear is huge in DIY motorcycle paint world/ helmet painting. Very durable stuff. Even holds up well to gas spills.

Rubber washer or uv resistant gasket material would also work. So it still it like screw,washer,rubber washer,truck. Should seal up fine.
