Yep, 2004 4L80E :D

My altenator is loud and has a whine to it. Along with my transmission. So between those two the turbo is silent on 5#. You can hear the alt when it shifts, kinda carries on since it has a clutch/sprag setup in it.

It took me from 3AM to 8AM to get most of it done.. and woke up at lunch. started at it again and by 5pm i was riding around in it.

That would be alot more volume trying to get stuffed thru the stock catback.

:santaclaus: Well the horrificly loud wastegate had to go. I knew that before i even put the turbo on. Towed the tahoe home and it got old fast!! Went by the exhaust shop and showed the guy what i was plannin on doin. 2 min he had the 1.75" pipe bent and got a peice of 2" and made me a turn...

8* is better than a 12* split Ive got a 212/218 .561/.570 114 in a 5.3 in my stop.. might end up pulling it out and putting it in my 4.8 in the Samurai. I tend to like the smaller cams since we are working with trucks here and not cars. plus if your not goin with a stall, its gonna be kinda...

That dont sound all that bad, but thats a huge split from I/E Im running the 215/215 .566/.566 114LSA in my stock LQ4 and it has plenty of low end and alot of mid. I tow alot and use to have a turbo, it makes good power with boost and N/A.

Get with Stock48 over on Performancetrucks.net he can spec you a custom grind that will work great for what you need.

I loved the big magnaflow mufflers, but after running a turbo and a big muffler i like quiet. Now im rocking a stock catback and loving it :D

haha.. well since we are on this topic.. what yall think about a T6 72C/83T on a LQ4 with a Isky 215/215 .566/.566 114lsa turbo cam.. BG420 model i think it is.
