Thanks for the info everyone. Anyone know what the specs are for the pinion angle of a NBS? Any recommendations on a tool to measure the pinion angle?

If I drop my 2004 CCSB Z-71 4wd in the rear via 2" drop shackles, and by removing the lift block will I have to add shims to obtain a correct pinion angle?

2004 Silverado CCSB Z-71 LM7 5.3L Airaid M.I.T., Airaid C.A.I., Magnaflow #11229 3" SI/SO 14" length case (removed factory muffler, & installed the Magnaflow)

FWIW, Dupli-Colors adhesion promoter is another good one to use. I used it when I color matched my lower valence, and it worked great.

Thanks for the great info! I like that stance & it looks great on your truck. I really appreciate the offer, but I picked some up when I got the bump stops & the shackles.

Thanks Jimmy! It'll probably be a 2/ 3 or 4. I'm going to lower the front by decranking the torsion bars. I hope the rear will be lowered 4". I have Bell-Tech shackles that are supposed to be good for 2" of drop, and then I'm hopefully going to get the other 2" by removing the factory lift...
