Looking for recommendations on what I should get to fix my horrible paint an to keep it nice. I do not have a machine but I would like to get one. Looking for the best bang for my buck. I basically have the basic cheap soap from the auto parts store and rags.

This one was a big bitch. Mainly new car prep with a coating because he just got this less than a month ago.
Process:
Foam cannon pre soak
IronX bath
Foam & wash
Clay
CarPro essence polish
CarPro Eraser wipe down
Gyeon Mohs ceramic coating (2 coats) on all paint & wheels
CarPro PERL on...
So I've pretty much been stuck with adams and SCG so I want to try something new. With so much on the market the info is just overwhelming. So like the title says what pads and polishes are you using? Tool is a flex 3401. I've read that the LC hybrid pads are the best combination with the flex.
I just added foam speaker baffles and swapped out the intermittent 6.5" front door speakers with cheap Kenwood KFCG1620 (coax/4ohm) 6.5's.
GOD it sounds like S**t! The stock ones when working actually sounded better. I don't want to run an amp (yet) but I need something better in the meantime...
Can anyone direct me to the Driver side OEM bottom/back foam replacement part numbers, and or the best economical place to buy them? Feel like I'm sitting in a toilet when driving...hahaha.
Thanks in advance from the noob
I have a DA that I use to wax fiberglass boat topsides in the summer. I use a wool pad for that, and I think it came with two foam pads, I have no idea what they are or do.
For compounding and polishing my SUV, what pads do I need, and what compounds and polishes would be good for a beginner...
So last week I placed an order with SCG and was asked if I could provide a review if I was provided a product. I gladly accepted and was able to use it this weekend on a 2016 Mustang I detailed. Wont go into details as to wat/how this thing is or works but its supposed to be a replacement for...
I figured I would start a build thread on for the interior for my ride and I will post all the pics and info on what I have in in plan for it. Since interior work is out of my skill set I have a guy on the North Side of Houston doing this for me. My dash was cracked in the famous spots where...
This winter while the forces are off the truck I want to try some more aggressive metal polishes and was looking for some suggestions. Currently I use Adams #1 metal polish with a mothers magic ball then touched up with a microfiber pad.

Most of you know I scored a set of NNBS GMC 20s...didnt see anything on here on how to declad, so here we go.
I started off with these wheels, doesnt matter if you have the same ones I do or the other clad version, theyre the same wheel underneath.
"Other" rimps...again, wont matter as long...
Ok I'm gunna start hunting for some wheels to declad, what am I gunna be getting myself into? I am dead set on these, any tips, tricks, or suggestions I am open to! And do I have the right wheels that I'm looking for to have the wheels I want?
These?
Make these right?
This truck came in for a quick polish/seal exterior only detail. Below are the pics in order. Its hard to photograph Silver Birch through the changes of the paint but i can say it made a large difference in the depth and overall appearance of the paint. Its also now protected for daily driver...
Instead of posting tid bits here and there, I'll make a thread.

Need I say more?
I hate bug & tar remover. I think I've used it twice.
What's the best method for removing them, without harming the finish? Honestly if there's a way to do it without stripping the wax off of the hood that'd be awesome too. I have to be selective of weather/time of...
Morn, did a 2015 ZL-1 a couple weeks back. Spent 20 hours on the polish side. It looked about 85% better when it was finished. I have never seen a dealership essentially murder a factory paint job like that ever in my life. There are some deep scratches and other things (dealer installed)...
I plan on purchasing the v36 & v38 combo this weekend. I plan on using v36 with an orange pad but have seen people use anything from blue, white, black for v38. I have blue foam pads already. What would be best to use with the v38.
I have been reading a lot on some detail forums about carpet and upholstery cleaning. A lot of people swear by Folex carpet cleaner and swear about how great it is. I had some bad stains on the carpet at work from some customers who spilled BOTH a soda and a chocolate milkshake on an area of...
