Sounds and looks real good. How long did the down pipe take. I'm doing mine hopefully this coming weekend.

lol, the downpipe was a bitch. i ended up having to yank the heat shield off of it first, then i was finally able to pry it away from the firewall. it took me a good 6+ hours between taking my time and getting pissed off

Sounds good.

Dat landscaping doe.

thanks, ha our landscaping looks like shit, just cant tell :roflpuke: or at least it does to me

Damn that sounds great. There just isn't much out there for sound clips on the LMLs. I've read that these sound quite a bit similar to an LB7 and I'd have to agree.

Yea, it seems like guys are to afraid to delete the emissions crap and void their warranty. I didn't care, guys at dealership will service it anyways as long as its not ridiculous. I just swapped the single band clamps out to all duals and that fixed the leaks and flex in the pipes. Much better now.

Alec, how did you like the fitment of the AFE exhaust? I'm about to pull the trigger on an exhaust and its between the 5" AFE or a Flo Pro kit. I'm gonna take a stab that the AFE kit might fit a bit better from what I notice.

It fit no problem. But buy some double band clamps to use instead of the singles. they leak. also, with the race version of the exhaust like i got, i had to get a longer rear hanger isolator to drop the exhaust down from the rear bumper so the tip wouldnt hit.

here's everything i ordered:

Does your 4in. AFE drone/resonate in the cab at any certain speeds? My 5in. does in 6th gear at the mid 60 mph mark and sometimes in 5th gear around 55mph.
