Was very skeptical on the color but now I'm so glad it's white and not black because it sticks out like a sore thumb but in a really good way. You can see it from a good 30 feet away. My only worry now is someone stealing it. Didn't you guys say to put loctite on it so no one just take it off? My only other worry is what will I do when I have to take it off say to paint my hood cowl gloss black like I want to do will it not ever come off?

That looks good, I've got the same antenna but polished. I put the blue loctite on mine and it's not coming off anytime soon. The corner piece of the cowl comes off, just pop it off and slide it straight up.

Okay tonneh I'll get some blue loctite tomorrow and put it on there. I've been fighting to install new fogs this evening and then put hids in them also.... the new valance is coming soon just have to cut out fog holes and paint it black. The new fogs have a bulb cover which my stocks did not why is that? I feel like they won't be as bright with that bulb cover like low beams have?

I love how dark they are but not like blacked out they are just a crystal clear dark if that makes sense. I think they are going to look awesome once I get valance put back on because they will blend in and only see them when lights are on....

Do need new fogs. Any idea what you are gonna paint the new valance with? I tried duplicolor bumper black on mine and within 2 weeks it was all chipped to hell. Went to a car wash and used high pressure nozzle and it all blew right off. Not sure if the valance has like a waxy coating on it or not but I'm gonna make sure to clean it with wax and grease remover next time lol.

I just scuffed my old valence with a red scotchbrite a little, wiped it down real good with laquer thinner, and painted with Krylon semi gloss. That stuff's made for plastic, did that 3 years in a row and it never came off/chipped/etc. It just slowly faded a tad and didn't look fresh so I re-did it every spring along with the flares/handles/mirrors. Worked great

That's how I did my first one and never had a problem besides scrapes and rash from ripping it off. Should have done this one the same from the start lol

I've always scuffed with red pad and smoothed out all the mold lines then scrubbed with dawn soap and then used adhesive promoter and finally sprayed a bunch of coats on it. Mine didn't start chipping until 2 years later and it was only on the sides where I would crease the valance when pulling into somewhere.

And finally a shot of the headlights all on.... next light mod will be to make the DRL a turn signal.

Still waiting on my last order from VLED which has my 5K liscenes plate lights and some of the interior lights for the car.

Do switchbacks in turns and and drls
Bridge the turn signal wire at the light, and bridge the relay signals under the fusebox

DNW switchbacks..... have them in car and love them but for the truck I want dual amber turns. I'm just going to buy another set of turn sockets and wire them to the stock turns and just do away with the running lights all together I guess. Would be cool to have the turns run as the DRLs but don't see how I could do that.

That's what I want to do.... and the bulbs I'm gonna run will be the triton V3 ambers I guess. I want the orange to be as bright as possible.

Also something weird that's started since the whole hid swap and really noticed it yesterday after HI-6 mod but I can smell a weird hot glue smell when I get somewhere and get out of the truck, any ideas? Inside the fuse box looks fine, checked the stuff I sealed headlights with and it looks fine I really don't know where it's coming from....

Now just gotta find out what bulb fits the puddle lamps and I'll be happy besides the turn's / DRL's... anybody wired they're taillights to all run at the same time and then brake like normal? Or do the middles only light up for brakes

Just went ahead and ordered a new valance with the fogs cut out already... tired of screwing around with the 3 I have that aren't cut out already. Also ordered another 3" lip since mine decided to go MIA and I can't find it anywhere... will have both by wed and hopefully installed this weekend.

New valance will be here tomorrow along with a new 160 amp alternator and belt tensioner. Also need to order a new belt and get some more oil cause I already ordered the oil filter. Also hooked up my rear pass door speaker which has been not wired in for god knows how long. Trying to do some well needed stuff that's wearing out slowly but surely.
