Nah hopefully tomorrow since I'm off. It'll just be a big tease anyway since there's still a ton of salt and crap on the roads.

And I'm surprised no one asked where the actual pic of the wheels is instead of boxes lol.

I think so too. I'm excited. I haven't seen them on another truck yet either and that's surprising given their style and price point.

Fts, we play for keeps. Get them on meow.

Believe me, was tempting. Ideally like to have them coated and on soon, but we're expecting snow maybe sooo idk.

They’re too tall, not gonna fit. Ship to me

I've been slacking lately so I decided to start on the remote shifter and full console install today.

I got the shifter installed and the new glove box. I was going to test fit everything with the console, but I didn't realize the one I bought on ebay was 1) a Bose console and 2) didn't have the floor bracket. So with those two things against me I decided to tackle just the short throw base and remote mount install today.

I also think I'm going to sell this full console and just buy a non Bose charcoal console and eliminate a ton of headaches for now. I'd have to completely disassemble the tan one I got both to get the Bose sub out and paint it. So that'll be up for grabs if anyone wants it.

I took it for a quick drive and it feels great. Super tight and much much better than the giant throws before. Gonna play with tightening the shift rod ends a tad more but otherwise I'm really happy with it. No exaggeration, the short throw combined with the remote shifter is at least a 60%+ reduction in the throw. It's insane. I'll charge my go pro and get a video once it's done.

So, I’m curious. Does the remote mount weld to the floor? Or use an existing bolt/mount for something?

Nope just measured according to what the video said and mount it to the tunnel with a bracket. You mark and make the holes for it. I'm going to get some hardware for the mount, right now its just got 2 bolts but I'm going to put a small plate underneath for support and run the bolts through that.
