Or that like a classy looking interior, dat 04 had the sand color tan in it, much better than my dad's 05 with charcoal plus not fgt 2tone interior plus shows way more dirt than mine did

I can assure you, your light gray, tan, or whatever color, was nowhere near the level of classy of my charcoal NBS interior :crossarms:

This scheme makes me want to pull my dash since it's got a chip and keep it simple

Well I pulled my interior apart in the grey truck last night. Only to discover that every single clip under the dash pad is broken off. I plan on slicking out and paint matching my dash and console, but now I'm in a predicament.. I don't know if I want to invest time and money into a dash cover that I'll know is broken. It's had a little bit of a rattle for a while so I wondered if something was messed up.... New dash covers are anywhere from 150 - 300 bucks from what I've found. Anyone have one laying around?

painted interior parts looks like my buddies 90's acura TL he had in high school that he painted the interior on. :iamdissapoint:...i figured since everybody is so picky about exterior mods and such id see more leather wrapped consoles and dash piece...that's what i wanna do.

Only way i like painted interiors is if it's smoothed and done right and not just pieces here and there but rather whole interiors (ie. Dash, console, door panels, door trim, etc) and it goes with the theme of the truck. Like that bagged black nbs with the all red interior, hngggg.

James, i would check junk yards or part outs. If you just need the top part of the dash, i would think you could snag one for less than $60

I ended up tracking down a hell of a deal locally on craigslist right after I posted that..
If it's all as clean as he claims it is, I'll have new door panels too.

:truestory: and I am severely disappointed with how many patina'd are done, to me it's just and unfinished project that in most cases has a lot of other nice work done. If I had known it was going to catch on so much I would have left the rust holes in the 88, sanded it down some and sold that bish for a mean chunk of change

I like painted interiors as long as it's a dark color. Preferably black but peytons green interior looks good too.

Mine will be the same color as the exterior... Storm grey.
Some of it will be slicked, some of it won't. I don't feel like sanding that much. lol
