I have a 1997 K2500 Suburban with a 454 (gen 6) and a 4L80-E trans. I want to swap an NV4500 trans into this truck because I like driving manuals more. I was thinking of buying a donor truck so that I can swap all of the parts from that truck onto my suburban. Does anyone know how different the trans setup is on a 350 or diesel pickup to a 454 manual pickup? What is my vest option for me to do this trans swap? Thanks!
