I ordered the King rod ends pictured here, im going to find the thread and fill the existing hole where the shaft would thread in to. Once thats cured i will find the thread and depth of my shifter and drill and tap the rod end to allow it to be my shift knob.

They are super handy. Worst case you would just have to drill and tap the rod end to the timesert size and then at least no epoxy or anything.

I wondered what you were going to do for a release button but I forgot Toyota does the shifter like that. Pretty cool and not just some basic knob a bunch of other guys will have.

Aaaaand the roof rack goes back on. How does it fit in the OEM roach?

works well. The base of the tent is two aluminum crossbars with a slide track for the mounts. I have it mounted to the rails not the crossbars.

Eventually i want a custom roof rack but for the price this will work for awhile.
