It could. I understand aluminum is non-ferrous and therefore non-magnetic but maybe they could put a small magnet on the studs or put one on the base where it meets the bottom plate

would be easier and cheaper to make a cast and pour in steel and put a giant magnet on bottom so the whole things magnetic

i tried organizing the shop with these ones, or well cheap versions of them with a handle. i hated them. i coudlnt get enough sockes on them and they werea a pain in the ass.

i much prefer the pegs, my buddy has them in his garage and at his tool box at work and i find them easier and more convient. just personal preference though.

the metal rails always get fucked up and the snap piece comes off the rail

also dont get the one where its a tray thing with holes in it and you set them in the hole.

when you pull a socket out and it catches and pulls the tray up your fucked.

my dad has one, ask me how i know :okay:

I need to gt something different for sockets too, I just use the trays snap on sent, the are decent but take up a lot of room.

ive used several different kinds and honestly if you feel like paying the money the hansen ones. my buddy has the kobalt ones and for 2 bucks or whatever they work but sockets are all floppy on them and just not well crafted which was expected

So I recently bought a bigger tool box where I can actually organize all my tools instead of keeping them in the shitty plastic cases they came in.

What are u fgts using to organize ur sockets?

was thinking something like this.
grip-6-piece-socket-organizer-set.jpg

but ive got 6 and 12pt sockets in almost every foken size, so Id have to buy a bunch of trays. Have u guys made ur own?
BUY THESE!!!! put 12 points in there, throw 6 points in a drawyer. If you plan to use 6 points alot but these for 6 points as well

i have that type but made by craftsman, i fucking love them i have 2 of each set, since i too have 12 point and 6 point. makes grabbing a socket easy as hell because its on its labled peg, and you can tell what one is missing.
:shake:
