If you don't know me, I'm Devin. I started off with a 2000 silverado 4x4 and in three years had it to a point where it was painted and dropped 5/10 on a set of 24's
The day I got it

The truck was then severely vandalized, and to be honest, it really pushed me over the edge with the truck. The people who vandalized it were found and I was reimbursed for my losses. Regardless I was sick of the truck and found a buyer.

Long story short I picked up an 01 2wd for really cheap

The plans for the truck are:
EKMW front kit to lay on 24's (purchased)
Accuair elevel (purchased)
8.5 gal tank
Airlift D2600's up front
Slam specialties RE-7's out back
24' ar894 rims 24x9 +38 (already owned)
255/30/24 tires
Flush mounting stock tranny crossmember (done)
Narrowing the rear end 1.75" per side
KP 6 link w/ watts upgrade (done)
Raised gas tank
Raise Y pipe
Roll pan (done)
Shaved tail lights
Shaved doors
Shaved third BL
Tear drop hot rod tail lights

Body cab (done)
Body core(done)
Body bed

One question,
I know a lot of people body drop a truck by moving the cab mounts down 2", then cutting 1" out of the cab and plating it with 1/4 for a 2 3/4 body drop. Is It possible to move the mounts down 2 3/4 and not have to cut and plate the cab? I've heard rumors that the bolt for the cab mount will end up dragging with the mounts moved down 2 3/4.

Thanks,

plans sound good dood. but wanna add do something about hd grille and non hd everything else while your at it?

Yeah, the dumb ass I bought the truck from cut up that hd grill to make it fit the non hd front end. I'm just using it to test paints and primers on now.
Truck looks like this as of today.

Already have my old HD grill and good on already, just not lowering the bumper brackets until I bag it.

Nice thing about the person who bought it, (my little sister), she didn't want most of the aftermarket stuff. Got to keep my HD clip, my painted interior, train horn, drop spindles and my shaved bed. Only thing she wanted was my system, which wasn't too great to begin with.
Here's her truck as of today as well, still have to raise frame horns back up.

Long story short, some dude here in anchorage with a two toned red and black truck slashed this girls tires and she retaliated on the wrong truck. There are like 2 red/black nbs, 1 nnbs and 3 obs in anchorage that are red/black.

Pretty sure this is the truck she was after...

custom 2007 gmc sierra looking for a quick sale
Even, though, the colors were similar the two don't even look remotely the same. I sure hope she compensated you for all that damage! I'd be livid!!!

I like where this new truck is going :)

Thanks. From what I understood through her, her friend 'saw' the truck and described it as red and black, lowered and on black rims.

Hopefully this one will go in the direction i want it to, which is down. Lol

whats the color plans for yours and hers.

I'm going to sand and just seal and primer hers for now. When she's 16 she's going to take auto body at school and she can paint it then.
I really haven't thought about what to paint mine yet. More focused on suspension for now.

And I'm really to see this truck layed out too. Lol

i hate to burst your bubble, but i wish i never bagged my OBS. it was much more reliable and fun static.

I can't have static Anymore, my driveway just beats the living shit out of my truck.
Reliability isn't a big issue, because it won't be driven more that 40 miles at a time, if that. It won't be a daily driver.
