I'm looking to convert my mechanical fan to electric, but I'm stumped on the wiring, I have seen people make their own but not explain how. Has anybody done it that can explain it to me? Thanks in advance!

I already had the 34" radiator, so adding the 05+ fans was easy as fuck. Just remove the clutch fan and shroud, and the 05 fans literally bolt right in place as if they were meant to go there.
The wiring was pretty easy (for me anyways). I pulled the OEM harness from the same truck I pulled the fans from.

Can't you fit LS1 fans on your stock radiator?
Cuz i know a guy who has some that he would sell....
Keep an eye out for parting trucks on cl. Got my fans, harness, and 34" radiator for $125. Then sold the oem harness for $40.
I was going to use some fans that fit in the radiator I have now and just make some mounts, did anyone feel a difference in power or see better mpg?
Doesn't bog in traffic while using ac, little bit snappier imo, and mpg doesn't change much. But definitely a nice upgrade
