2005 Crew Cab 2/4

I cannot decide. I'd like to paint the number cap but only if I pull the door moldings. Since I drive this daily and park at work amongst a ton of people who just don't care I want to leave the moldings. I don't think it would look right with bumper caps painted and door moldings still black. If only I had GMC door moldings.

Still not lowered :( but making small changes as I go. I need a vacation from work just to spend time on the truck! Here's today's progress. Simple yet affective.

Finally cut off my high back pressure exhaust mod!

You can take the firewall blanket off and it doesn't effect anything but looks better, I literally just started pulling on mine and threw it away.

Before and after. Thought I had it all buttoned up. Had longer u bolts made yesterday and got them on. Been listening for squeaks rattles etc and it's all been good. Today I get in it though and I sit in the seat I hear a clunk. Hoping it's just settling!

I'd like to take both off but am afraid of what's underneath!

I need to figure out this noise. It's like when it's parked everything settles into place then when I sit in it or stand or bumper I push it out of place again. This didn't happen until it got really cold. Hoping that has so.ething to do with it. I need a time where I can lay under it and have something cycle the suspension after it's sat.

I only live a few miles from everywhere I go. Actually drove the truck yesterday about 40 miles one way. Rode good. Tracks fairly straight. Does have a driveline vibration around 3500 rpm's but it won't see that often.
