Hey guys so we are going for a little of an aggressive (off road) stance on our truck but want to make sure we dont open up a can of worms. Thinking of going with 22" wheels and the biggest size tire possible without lifting.
Any opinions would be great, if you can provide pictures of what you are talking about it would be great. This is a new world for us.
thanks in advance

We need more info.

Year?
4x4?

etc. etc.

Not a bad idea to post up pics of your truck either.

31x10.50r22

edit: but seriously. if you're wanting to go 22's you should consider lifting a bit. or at least leveling so you can stick some 33s under there

I dont want to add any stress to anything, I need reliable. If that is the case I would rather just keep it as stock as possible.

Even with a 2.5" kit you will have some rubbing at full lock, may have to trim some

Here is a truck with 2.5" and 295/55/20 Nitto Trail Grapplers

and one with 22" (get these wheels Trailblazer SS replica wheels) 33/12.50/22 Toyo M/Ts top gun level 2.5

your ride will not be affected bad, because the NNBS have struts. the only aspect that may affect it is that the a arms are a hint of more angle, not a big deal. i put the Zone leveling kit on the Gf's truck, and it still rides like it did from the factory.

I would say no bigger than 33's but its all about how wide your wheels are and what the offset is.

Go with TGC 2.5, 33x12.5s do not rub on TBSS replica 22s. Could always add a 1.5" BL as well.

12 Sierra with 2.5" tgc, TBSS 22s, toyo 33x12.5s

oewheelsllc.com is a good one too. They don't have the larger sizes or a large selection but they have some good prices on the 'stock' stuff

Right on thanks,

So 22s with a leveling kit and 33s?
What is a good option instead of the toyos? Those things are pricey.
