Best door speakers

Alright guys im looking at starting off the basic audio inside my truck, im pondering on some polk audio's but just want some other opinions.

Installing in a 08 Silverado CC

I had Alpines in my Yukon and hated them. Ran Infintis in my 00 Sierra and loved those.

Im looking at some rocksford fosgate 3 ways I think im gonna go that route.

Let me introduce you to Focal, I have the 165 A1 2 way component set in my 04, Tony(BOO5TED) suggested them to me, he has the 3 way set.

Not a bad price, I got a set of infinitys all 4 at car toys, they were having a bout one get one free deal

I got infinity components in front doors and 3 ways n rear. Sound great. Also they usually have a buy one and get the otherhalf off on crutchfield

I looked mine over very close and they gave no signs of being knockoffs and they sound good but IIRC sonic is grey market stuff

I plan to be purchasing some Infinity Kappa 2-way for my doors in about a month or so. I had the referneces in my sonoma and they were awesome, I figure the kappas should be even better

Had all sorts of problems with the new infinities so i do not recommend them. Hertz, cdt, rainbow, focal, alpine type x, rockford, ascendant audio. I also recommended the same pair of focals to countless people for a quality entry level set.

What kinds of problems? I dont plan to amp them if that makes any difference.

They just sounded like absolute shit. Way too hard on the "s" sounds. They were running off a rf amp. Switched them out for rf t2 components and it sounds so much better its ridiculous.
