Aunt is looking at getting a Volt, What do you all think about them? are they really worth the price tag?

you get a HUGE tax rebate for them, honestly tho I am 100% against hybrids. I havnt done the research compairing the Volt but about 4 years ago I did a paper about why diesel is the way to go and compaired ar TDI Jetta and a Prius, geuss what was cheaper to own/maintain for the over a hundred thousand miles, then gets even better when the prius stats having issues. That being said, the Volt is a pretty cool little car and does drive nice.
