Dat Morimoto Retrofit

Got my adapter plates as a test subject for Nick on GMFS (Ri22o) to fit Bi-xenon: Morimoto Mini H1 4.1 - HID Projectors from The Retrofit Source Inc .
So These adapters allow you to swap denali halogen suck projectors for HID projectors.
On to the results.

Morimoto vs. Denali

Morimoto 4.3K on the passengers' side Denali 6k on Drivers' side

Denali on left, Morimoto on right. The cutoff line with the morimoto's is significantly more defined, as well as the light pattern being fuller.

how long did this take you? was it basically bolt on mods?

Yeah, using the adapter all I needed was silcone and 8 - #8 machine bolts/nuts. Took about 30 minutes.

did you have to do any adjusting, moving of the projector, or with the adapters did everything just line up?

Everything lined up with the adapters, they bolt to the projector, then bolt adapter to OEM housing. Still utilize OEM adjustment tool

Its a great mod I have had my mormito on my denalis for a while now and there is a huge difference. I have 5k on mine

The really big improvement with this upgrade is in the cutoff of the projector in low beams, and the high beams light output being a bi-xenon. Worth the 175 for bulbs/projectors/adapters. Ballasts needed too
