Texas speed 1 3/4primaries, 3" collector, off-road Y to a 3" magnaflow bullet dumped in front of the axle.

Here's a cold start idle:

I don't know too much about exhaust. As of now I have true dual, 2.5" pipe all the way through, no mufflers, and stock cats into 4" rolled tips

I'm kinda wanting to lean away from this type of exhaust, and get more of a "street truck" sound. I have thought about get ring dynomax bullets and dumping before or after axle. any help would be appreciated.

Losing the "true dual" and getting an X pipe would do you a great favor.
I know it's been said before here, but I experienced the shit sound for a few days on my car and it was terrible sounding.
Exhaust shop chopped my car exhaust to re do it, and the X pipe was the wrong size.
They ordered the X pipe and it was there the next day, but my schedule didn't work. Rolled around with "true duals" on my Benz for 3 days. Sounded like fuckery. Hated it

Shaky video because I need 3 hands for this lol. Quick 1-4 pull up to about 85-90ish.i had to shift out of 3rd before revving it out due to driveline vibrations. Still have to get my pinion angle dialed in better, but it's fine for every day driving.

My last post I asked about exhaust. and was told by my buddy's father to keep the true dual that i would probably like it dumped right after the cats, or if it's too loud to dump it after some mufflers. (Dynomax bullets) anyone know how much this would change the sound?

Is this a good idea? Bad? Suggestion?

Since nobody told you, that's a terrible idea. First of all these trucks don't respond any better to duals than a single exhaust. Second dumping it right after the cats will drone horribly and you'll want to burn that bitch to the ground after about 2 minutes. On your truck i would do a decent straight through muffler like a magnaflow or borla or even a bullet style. Then run it back over the axle and dump it.
