ginger has a NBS, :saywhat!:

The locking ring is what held up my dad and I when we were doing it in his Yukon. Ended up saying fuck it and had our mechanic do it. Wasn't fun at all doing it in a SUV.

mine was loud, for a while i could put marvel mystery oil in it, and it would quiet it down some. the last year, that didnt even help. and with 186k on the pump. and i have a trip to Maryland. Connecticut and Syracuse all coming up in the next month and a half, i didnt want to risk it.

Yeah o2 codes are specifically o2. You probably have a clogged cat. My old truck clogged the cats at 150ish and then the aftermarket y pipe I had put on spit the guts of the cats out at 158ish. Bullshit

We got 2 aftermarket Y-pipes put on by a local muffler shop (1 for my truck and 1 for mom's surburban) for ~550 IIRC. I think I'd find a competent shop that could cut in some Magnaflows or something or if I'm out of this emissions county by then I'll just delete the cats

The speed engineering ypipe and LTs are cheap. Just gotta spray those bolts down for like a month lol I don't blame you for not wanting to try. Jegs has an off-road y that's like 150, bolts up to stock manifolds

finally doing some work on this again.

yesterday i changed the PCV valve, Spark Plugs and Wires.

This week i plan on changing the y pipe. i think it was Khaos that gave me the link for a cheap OEM one new.

The hood is going to get repainted soon as theres some serious rock chips in it.

if it wasnt for me owing taxes i would buy the new wheels i want already.
