Anyone know what this harness is and where it should be? It on the driver side of a 1996 Tahoe 4x4.

jared its a OBS, knock sensors are on the side of the block in a water jacket. i replaced one, ask how i know its a water jacket....
it is under the manifold and has a single prog sensor on it iirc.
plus with the heat protector on it, it must go somewhere close to the manifold that needs to be protected from burning

My guess. Looks kinda like the plug where the wire from the hub hooks up. But I'm an idiot and probably wrong.

word, just didn't know the knock sensors where down there. I figured something by exhaust, that's why I thought a temp sensor. Been a long time since I looked at those motors
same here, i will be looking at mine again a lot more this spring since i plan on actually working on my OBS again.
