Kill switch

"Option X" would be sweet because it would eliminate me leaving my phone at the house then having to turn around rofl

For my application, I'm thinking of running 2 switches to different locations in the truck. One for starter trigger wire coming from the ignition tumbler, and the other for the fuel pump trigger wire from the ECM...

Found these diagrams on GM Upfitter.

Am I on the right track here?

Green/Grey wire from the ECM here

Either the White/Black or White/Violet from the tumbler... or both? so a total of 3 switches?

i looked into it any came to the conclusion i would need Anthony to help me with it, and he a busy guy

Billeh I may have found a local company that maybe able to help. They did some work on a truck I saw at a local bro truck meet. The guy used his phone to control his light bars and train horns.

Maybe just me, but pics too small.

Nobody can confirm that these are the wires? I'd rather not have an oopsie with my 6 week old wiring... lol

Would like to do this eventually too, gonna need to study up on some skee-matics. Now that my truck is nicer and starting to stand out around here, DNW some fgt deciding they need it more than me. That phone idea would be badass, just kill the whole truck and walk away without even touching anything on the truck. That way nobody could even scout out what you're doing

I'm going to end up with 3 keyed switches from what I can tell, because I'm going to switch BOTH wires coming off of the ignition tumbler lol.

Define keyed switches....like, you have to flip 3 different switches to make the truck start? Or when you turn the key off, 3 separate solenoids will kill certain operations?

I buy keyed switches, just rum them through the OEM harness into the cab. Works perfect

Then i cover them up with a GM Socket cover
