LBZ intake heater grid delete ?

If you're going to go through all the trouble of removing that just do a EGR delete from SDP and it will delete the grid heater. Yeah it costs more but the heater grid delete is 70 bucks and doesn't offer much in terms of flow after the grid delete because that cast piece has so many kinks in it.

My trucks still warn up fine without the heater grid too.

i was thinking of deleting it when i try clean my intake but yeah didn't think of just doing egr delete....might happen in the future but there is so much to do to these engines i don't even know where to start but i need money first anyway

EGR delete, intake heater grid delete, PCV reroute, 3" downpipe.

And while you're doing the EGR delete you'll have to take the pass side up pipe off and trans dip stick out to weld the egr port shut..... put a 3" downpipe in then too so you don't have to pull the up pipe again. Those 12mm 12 point bolts off the back of the turbo are a bitch and you'll only wanna do it once after you do it the first time.

does the weld on the ERG port have to be professional like sealed ?

and i just need this: 06-07 LBZ Race EGR delete kit - Screamin Diesel Performance

so $465.00 and that's all i need the down pipe and egr delete ?

Yeah it has to be sealed. All I did was cut it off half way down the port and used a wire feed to weld a 1/4" plate on the end to cap it off. Pretty easy.

Then on the crew cab that is where I tapped for the drive pressure gauge.

I did the crew and reg cab that way and saved myself the 100 bucks on buying a LB7 up pipe.
