i wanted to post this up in the lift section i also have a post in my forum about this new phase 1 lift kit by mcgaughys.

all hardware needed to install kit
i got the chance to do an install on this kit monday on a 07 1500 2wd and it installed vary nice all the holes lined up properly i did not have to cut up anything on the frame. if you were to install this on a 4wd you would have to cut the end of the frame to make room for the diff when it drops down. a new weld in filler plate is provided aswell.
the kit comes in a glossy black powdercoat with glossy silver lift strut for the front. this is supper nice compaired to the other methods out there where you have to remove the lower bushing and insert aluminum bushings and new lower strut extenders that are vary time consuming to install. the nice thing about the strut is its ajustable up to 2.0 inches alowing you to make ajustments if you like
the compression struts that come in the kit also are nice since you do not have to remove the bolts on the transmission anymore to install them. just losten the bolt up and slip them in place saving you lots of time not having to remove the bolts and fighting with the exhaust to get the transmission crosmember bolts out. the front bracket simply bolts to the crossmember with a 1/2 bolt. the rear kit is a breaze to install 2 new shocks and 2 lift blocks and new u bolts
the blocks are a fabricated block which gives it more charactor. we can add a rear add a leaf to get the rear of the truck up more aswell
this kit is a really nice kit for a guy that wants to just lift his truck and have the ability to make adjustments to it, so it sits how he wants it to.
