Yes. and Mirrors I would like the 98 stock mirrors. but thats way later on.

and Debadging/ undo the Molding im debating.
 
95+ interior has the fold down console right?
And Interior doesnt bother me I just like it not being Red.

But Mirrors I do want.
I dont know about Debadging and Undoing the molding

I want to do GMT800 buckets and custom center or GMT900 jump seat in my 88. Also the mirrors can be found at some part stores.
 
congrats kippster!

with the way that truck looks to have been maintained im sure you can demold/debadge without any ill effects - just be very careful and be prepared to wetsand and buff the areas you removed factory stuff from. That and new mirrors would be a major help in bringing it into the modern ages...
 
the mirrors changed in 95, I believe for Chevy the grille changed in 94, interior was 95. My obs seats in my 97 where the best leather I can remember ever sitting in. My trans am was ok, and my NBS is pretty nice. NNBS I am not a fan of.

correct, GMC grille changed also, 88-93 had a squarer opening
