I always have a hard time sticking with the same set up. As of now I am actually fully happy with what I have! To start off my build I have a 2009 Silverado z71. It's had its share of AFM issues at 35k miles but a new motor cleared those issues up. Been my baby since day one and saddened me about the motor issues but oh well I guess..

Current Mods:

35-12.50-20 Nitto Trail Grapplers
Drop Star DS645's I believe but heck they don't even show them on their site so who knows.
6" SuperLift kit
4.10's
Eaton Locker
6-hi mod
MTR Tune
Cat back exhaust dumped behind rear end
Debadged (keeping the molding since idiots like to tear my stuff up even though I park in BFE)
15% tint front
3% tint rear
LEDs inside with reverse lights also
12" Kicker in downfire box
rear inner fender inserts (awesome product really finishes out the truck on the back side)

Mods Happenings ASAP:
Projectors
Powder coat stuffs
Color match mirrors, bumper, and front grille.

Far Future Mods?:
8" Lift (sitting in the box ready to go on as soon as I get the want to put it on, but depends on SAS)
4.56's
37's on 22's
Possibly turbo?
SAS (might swap rear end also at this point to a beefier set up I have a junk yard my cousin owns to throw around a few ideas)
HD Hood and grille swap.

Anyway a few photos from what I started with until now.

Not the day I got her but pretty much how she looked after the level kit on day 2.

Back to stock wheels for a little while. (only time it ever gets dirty is going hunting it's not a mud toy but does get used)

Threw some 33's on the new wheels while the lift sat in the box waiting to go on.

Finally had a weekend away from customer's bikes to do the lift!

Few hours later and I was pleased with the outcome. 35" trails on 18" XD Bombs.

Three weeks later sold the Nittos and went with Fuel Mud Grippers, horrible choice. Most untrue and unround tire I have ever put on a truck.

Few shows I had to go to so I took 6 hours to get the paint the best I could. Always been hand washed by me so not many imperfections.

Black badging

And pretty much how it sits as of now. I have wheel spacers ready, a grille in a box, and no time to color match :bawl:

Ayyyyy Nick. Get that front end and mirrors colormatched or something lol. Rid yourself of the hideous z71 sticker, debadge and de-camo and it'll be looking reaaaal good, not that it doesn't already

Looks good, the wheels seem a little odd to me on a lifted truck, just seem like they should be on a lowered sport truck can't say I hate them just different on a lifted truck.

If Big Burnett would do it I would! Guess I'll bring them to Duff's. Just waiting to when I'm not busy and need my truck all the time. The perf is coming off as soon as I get the other one printed. Already debadged minus the moldings but they're staying until I get higher than what doors can hit haha. And the camo emblems were to match the perf but they are going either carbon fiber or something off the wall.

They look stupid in the photos. I hate pictures of this truck because of the way they look. Maybe in person they will look a little better but everyone tells me when they see a photo of it that it looks like some cheap Walmart wheel that goes on a mini truck ha (and that's coming from a few mini truck guys around here). Then they see it and ask did I change wheels because they look different. Who knows.

Also I like the way you said you didn't care much for them. Instead of cussing about it and telling me I should drive it off a cliff. This is why I swapped forums to here haha.

I'd personally just tell Jason and get him to give you his thoughts. His fkn Jeep is perfect.

And get some good pics and I'll make you a signature picture

Called him this morning and talked for a while. Since I have the trashy 6 speed tranny he said don't even try to do a stall with it. So a mild cam is what he suggested. He is going to send me a cam card with the specs. Checked oil this morning since I haven't in 2500 miles and I'm a little past 1 qt.. This is how the last motor started doing 8k miles before it needed replacement. I'm not too happy right now and am going to the dealer in a little while. My dad is trying to talk me into trading it in on a '14 Silvy but idk. I'd have to sell it out of state so I didn't see it around here if some punk kid got it. Plus I'd return it to stock where it blends in well.

Jason said when we do the full delete it will definitely help this issue. Maybe a 6.0 is in the near future who knows.

Time to look for an LY6

Already found one! :freddie:

My baby ain't going no where!! Ha. Josh had one that had 15k on it that was rolled and took a hard lick on the passenger side. Busted the head and all but the short block is fine. Got the guy that builds our motors going to do all the work. My motor is fine now but I DO NOT want to be in a pinch and not have my DD if something were to happen or it start burning oil bad or run into the infamous DoD lifter failure. I wanted to be 100% ready minus the tune. Wow only been barely one day and it's coming together nicely. Something HAS to put a halt on this or this isn't going to seem right being one of my projects!!
