OBS Dome Light issue

Have a buddy that was installing led strips under the front footwell and grounded out his interior lights. Now none of the dome/map lights will work. The led strip are unplugged and the fuses are fine. Did use the search button and tried some of the other possibilities.

Any ideas?

Are the bulbs ok? I'd replace those before going to much further. How did you wire into the dome light circuit?

I assume the lights are good I will double check, I am not sure how he went about wiring them in

I would assume they would be ok also. Unless he somehow bypasses power into the circuit around the fuse. I would also check the area he cut into the circuit in the off chance he actually spliced into wires.
