official aSSmeister build

how did you not notice increased drone. and dump it after the axle. makes a big differance.
Because it was dumped before the axle with a turndown... So only like 8" past the muffler. How tf you gonna notice that?

And ya I'd rather do over the axel but then would need to find a cheap 3.5" tailpipe to buy

Ya but fuck $140 for a tailpipe, that's more than I paid for my muffler, turndown and y pipe. Then I'd just be cutting the end off anyway and then get a tip

How much do you think it'd be for a midas or something to just bend one up

I'm taking my cousins system from his old '00 ecsb sierra. Two 10" subs, box and amp. I have the stock bose system but with upgraded door speakers. Isn't there something fucky with adding a sub/amp with the bose system?

Also changed my trans filter today without blowing trans up

Little bit of research shows all I need is an in-line converter wired up to bose amp?? I don't have the premium (Y91) Bose

I added sub/amp/door speakers to my old Bose truck without having to do all that extra junk lol

You just wired it in normally and all was well?

Edit. Seems a lot of the issues with adding shit is from people trying to do it with the factory head unit. I has aftermarket so maybe (hopefully) it's a cake walk

You shouldn't need anything extra. I put a system in my dads old duramax years ago and he had bose with an aftermarket head unit. Just hooked up like any other system with 0 issues.

So system is installed after spending about 18hrs on it over three days.. Some snags included but not limited to: learning how to do it as I went, wiring 4 speakers in series into a two channel amp, the glue giving out holding the wood to the big amp, breaking plastic clips, shitty wire routing, trying to re use the pre cut used wires, making a bunch of new 4 gauge powers & grounds.

Got it fully all put back together, and two speakers didn't work. Got an rca splitter and now it's all good and peachy.

Final. It's a pretty shitty install but I was so sick of working on it I didn't care anymore

And aside from my turndown rotting off, my one stock pipe rotted off the Y. Didn't feel like messing with new parts and exhaust a week before I leave so just threw the wimpy stock back on
