Question regarding GM 6.0 Pricing

quote from one place said 2500 plus tax on 6.0 lq9 4l80e, harness, pcm, and accessories

quote two 165k motor 900+275 core trans is 200k on it for 800+400 core

quote three looks more reasonable said for the 6.0 with 138k miles he would give it to me for 1450 with harness and maybe pcm and charge me 50 for core if i bring my 5.7 in, bc the 5.7 and 6.0 core is a 50 dollar difference, didnt have a trans for the 6.0. also said that he would charge 1600 flat for a 5.3 with 4l60e trans with everything with only 160k miles

may end up doing a 5.3 if i cant find a 6.0

How many miles on the first one for 2500?

And don't rule out the 5.3,they are solid motors. Keep that option open just incase

I can buy 5.3s under 500 all day long.

Just a lil proof of credibility lol

guy said odometer showed 130k also had this to say
Yeah it was in a 2004 Denail, ran great, and it showed 130k on the odometer. The trans mated to all these LQ9 motors are 4L65e transmissions, not the 4L80e, so not sure on miles on what I have if you want to go with a 4L80e transmission. The 4L65e, was only put behind these 6.0's and are kind of a mixture between the 4L60e and the 4L80e. It has beafier internals than the 4L60e, much like the 4L80e does, but is in the same size case as the 4L60e.

i always thought the 6.0s had 4l80e's never knew 4l65e........

Paid 1100 for my lq4/80e

Search around on craigslist for sure

I'd recommend starting your own thread. This one is 3 years old and is unrelated to the question that you have asked.
