Spark plugs on a 01 5.3 engine

I'm getting ready to replace the spark plugs on my 01 Chevy 5.3 Suburban.
I have already ordered the AC Delco 41-110 Iridium plugs from Rockauto.
I thought it was odd that they were not listed as a replacement for my truck. I had to manually enter the part number in order to purchase them.
But I have read all over the interwebs that this is the correct factory replacement plug for my engine. But now I am finding mixed info, some sites saying that this is NOT the reccomended plug for this engine now. So what do you guys think?
Should I use them or go with another plug?

prolly because iradiums arent a factory replacement. and they wont add any power. Just get some good platinum plugs, thats what our trucks require.

NGK is usually cheaper in my experience.

Scott, I use NGK TR55 plugs. Like $1.50 each.

i run those...love them...when i removed trhe spark plugs off the LY5 (NNBS moter) I bought, had those same plugs...oem.

Delco or NGK is fine...they are also superseded quite often, that may be why.

Is online that much cheaper than auto stores?

Yep. Amazon or Rockauto is cheaper than any parts store in town.

The reason I ordered these is because I put these same plugs in my truck back in 2006 when I first bought it. Back then, that's what every "parts store" and website listed as the correct replacement. So I just ordered the same plugs again, but now I'm seeing that they are no longer the recommended plug.
I've ran them for 8 years with no issues, so I guess they should be just fine.

That's pretty much what I figured. But I was also wondering if a differnt plug would perhaps make it run any better or give me more MPGs or anything.

Fuck it, I already got em so I'll just stab em in there I guess. :lol:

lololol no you aint going to see much change with a damn spark plug, for the most part its either firing or it aint
