Aside from fabbing a new crossmember is there anything else required to swap to a 4l80e? The truck is a 05 silverado cc

I don't believe so...someone who has done it should chime in soon. I believe Samuel just did this last year. As have many others.

driveshaft

**edit** i know for a rcsb you do not sure on cc but it would make sense

Not as hard as it sounds, bolt it in, some cross member changes, the two wires ryan mentioned then finding soneone to change your operating system on ur tune!

Thus should be anyone and everyone's first mod if doin anything more than full bolt ons.

Hell i recommend it before boltons!

Easy fix on crew cabs is a 2500 burban driveshaft!

Thanks for the info. How much power can a stock 80e handle?

So simply, you will be fine with the swap, as long as it has no pre-existing issues, it is installed correctly, and maintained properly!

Ok that's what I needed to know. Just wanted to make sure I didn't need to build it up at all.
