Well I bought Austin's truck and couldn't be happier

So, what's next?

If I can't find anything else I think I am going to buy this. 2005 fully loaded z71...134k miles on it. Guy said he'd take 7k. That leaves me money for level, tint, tires, exhaust, and a few thousand left over for the savings account.

I'd be all over that for 7, that's like 10-12 here rust free
Talked to the guy that owns the Z71 Tahoe today, and he said that he would hold it for me till I can go get it this weekend. All I'm doing now is waiting for the certified check to clear so I can get the cash to go buy it. The only thing wrong with it is there is a dent in the bottom right corner but it looks pretty easy to fix. Just sucks it is 4.5 hours away, but once it is gone it will all be worth it. Hopefully the check clears and I could go get it Friday. Then it would be time to come home order leveling kit, hopefully Bilsteins, Corsa tip, and muffler.

For some reason around here ALL the claddings turn gray. Don't know if it is heat or sun exposure, but I will tape them off and paint/dye them. Then I figure paint correction and rock out.

I believe the Z71 Tahoe cladding and back bumper caps are a different color than regular Tahoe. Different part numbers for Z71 vs regular. Don't think it's faded, it's supposed to be grey.

Every z71 hoe I've ever seen has had grey cladding. Like factory grey, not just faded.
