What are you guys paying to ship wheels & tires?

I found somebody who is going to hook me up with a set of wheels and tires, i just need to cover shipping. I priced 4, 40lb 30x30x10 boxes at USPS for $96 a piece! What are some of you guys using to ship wheels and tires? It's a set of 15" steelies with (I'm guessing) 235/75/15 tires so if my estimated weight is off please correct me.

Look up Cornell, he's a member here. He did a write up (or posted it, rather) that detailed how to ship wheels on the cheap. IIRC, it's in the 'How-To' section, but I could be wrong.

Go fedex, greyhound, or uship.com.

I ship wheels daily. Set of 20" with tires runs me about $50/ea. Don't do boxes, just put cardboard around the front and backs and wrap them.

They do, yes, but are a bit higher than FedEx.
