Love his stuff haven't tried solution yet

That looks like a knock off, China made Rupes. Rupes are made in Italy. I don't have any experience with that re-branded China tool, but the one I did play with like that without a "brand" on it, that was a Rupes knock off was a huge piece of loud shit.

If money isn't an issue, pickup the Flex 3401 VRG or the Rupes 15. Either will suffice. The Rupes21 may be too big.

Revisiting this thread...been thinking HARD about adding the Rupes 15 to my Flex and Porter Cable lineup. Just need to sell some parts first I think.

Gannon, what'd you go with man?

Out of those two, which would you guys choose? Seriously looking to add one to my collection.

A PC that I use for a few panels and then I can't feel my arms....

The Rupes line operates similarly to the PC. However, it doesn't kill your forearms, wrists, and shoulders like the PC does. I stepped up to the Flex3401VRG because of how the PC operates. It's a different style of machine--while it's still not a rotary, it's a dual-action-forced rotation machine. Has a nice throw with a jog to it (doesn't spin in a 360* circle) and gets the job done on average 2-3 passes quicker than the Flex, depending on choice of polish.

I picked up the Rupes 15 LHR Mark II last week. Then broke it bc I am strong AF. New machine is back whole again.

I plan on using this for most of my detailing now. When I have harder paint to work on or more trashed paint, I will bring the Flex out. I feel it cuts just a bit better.
