Pulled the heads last night. Stock bolts backed off. I wanted to see if any bolts were loose so I used 3/8 ratchet and almost no effort to loosen the back 2 on the passenger head. Block is good. So that’s a relief. Heads are at the machine shop getting checked out. Should be done tmw. Hoping to have the time to put it together this weekend.

Washed her and tried some ceramic coating that my buddy got from a chrome shop. About to rain so we’ll see.

you...YOU installed a coating? Here we go.

Also coatings usually have a 24-48 cure time where they're not supposed to get wet or they could streak.

Unless its some bullshit in a spray wax form, then its not really a coating.

Got my 5 inch RC bracket lift installed. Sorry for shitty pics will get better ones when it quits raining. I also still need a alignment and put the wheels and tires on right now it's on stock 265/65/18.

I rarely use it. Thought it would be cool so had the dealer install one. Only time I really use it is if I pull up on a beach.

I’d def get two tho. The few times I’ve used mine, the boat pivots on that one point.

I’m looking at getting one of the trolling motors with SpotLock. The power poles are only good to a certain depth. The SpotLock keeps you locked in no matter what. Took the boat out yesterday and one of my favorite spots had an ass of current rolling through it. Had to stay on the trolling motor the whole time. SpotLock would’ve been amazing to have.

I haven’t done the poles because our lakes are stupid deep so it doesn’t make sense. I have a normal trolling motor I just work while I’m up front fishing. Works well.

My brothers new Nitro has the handheld and GPS tracking trolling motor which is badass just overkill lol
