Bd coming in about month or two

Viairs arent much,a single ob2 with shit on a dual 480 pack,built in cooling,last longer,1/2 leaders,better warrenty,and.simply look sexy
Every one buys viair bc they are cheap, ive seen some viairs that are unstoppable, also seen a dual pack die in 3 months

I also Daily this truck 550 miles a week,so i need dependablity

5 years and over 100,000 on my 480's on 4 different set ups on 2 trucks. Dependability is there with viair if you do everything correctly. Ive had to replace an ob2 on my buddies s-10 after 2 weeks, so the dependability is not gauranteed simply from paper specs. Yes they are appealing but one ob2 runs the same current draw as 2 480's. so its all personal preference. Ive installed 2 dozen viair compressors and they've all ran like a champ. Ive never had a single issue dealing with viair on rebuild kits or anything. I just rebuilt an 8 year old viair a month ago and its pumping as well as its replacement model shows to.

Not saying there arent bad ones out there, but they will come with any company. But the viair's are not the cheap way to go they are just the smaller way to go. An ob2 was built to be the output of 2 viair's. I can put 4 viairs on the same battery and tank and it will draw the same current and fill at the same rate as 2 ob2's.

Not trying to thread jack, but to down play viair as a company simply because the compressor isnt designed to do what the ob2's are is not accurate. I speak from personal experiences, and viair has been strong and lasted for me for years.

Yeh brett i had some viairs on my onboard and i never had much problems

Im telling you its all luck with them all
But i also see my buy being an upgrade

it is an upgrade. the AZ OB2's are mammoth compressors. With everything I've put my compressors through personally, I never hesitated to buy new Viair's. my 2 old ones are on 2 of my buddies trucks. one thing you can't ignore is the look and I was wanting some nicer looking ones and my buddies were on a budget and wanted to step up from the 380's they both had.
