2003 Chevy Silverado Upgrades

After three years of driving my first truck, 94 z71. I decided to upgrade to my 2003 spiral gray silverado last July. So far I have color matched door handles, cleared headlights, purchased a set of Chevy 17in rims and 315 mtz. My eventual plans for the exterior include: colormatch tailgate handle, re-tint the truck with 5% again, black lower valence, colormatch bumper cap and possibly change to the 06 front end. Performance wise I plan on installing another CAI, Black Bear Tune, upgrade to drilled/slotted brakes, and I may do electric fans. Let me know what you think and give me suggestions. Pics are in order from purchase to now.

Thanks man, yeah those rims had to go. Traded the caddys and nittos for the stock 16in rims and 315 Fierce. Eventually sold the Fierce tires to fund the 17s and 315 mtz. Now I'm wishing I got some LTZ Silverado 20s and 35s. Future possibility

You right, most trucks in the area are set up the same. Mine actualy doesn't squat as much as others though. I refuse to max out keys anymore and people in my area are removing stock blocks now. Looks stupid as hell.

Pretty much all of SC does that lol. 315s on stock suspension with keys maxed out. I did it once too lol

Ha yeah, those rims had to go. Guy shaved the brakes just to fit them? The stock rims looked better than those OBS rims IMO. What color is your truck Matt? Looks about the same as mine.

haha! I know what you mean. Those 17s that you have now are the best looking wheels on those trucks as far as I'm concerned. You're right, mine is also Spiral Gray Metallic.

Thanks man, might be ordering the cold air intake and 05-06 electric fans today get the electric fan harness from nelson. Save a little more cash, and order the custom tune from Black Bear.
