I was at my GM dealer asking some questions about lowering a NNBS and they tried telling me that when lowering more than 4" there has to be a modification with where the fuel tank sits. After all the time ive spent on this forum looking at what it takes to lower a NNBS CCSB i havent heard anything about having to move the gas tank when static lowering with a flip kit in the back. Any info would be great. Thanks

Even bagged the most I've ever heard of people doing is raising the tank so it doesn't drag or get punctured when they lay out.

mine sits about 1/4 off the ground when dropped ass, dunno if it makes a diffrence if its layed all the way out, but i never heard of such non-sence

Just someone talking about something they do not know anything about...

You have to scoot it over/drop it some when installing the flip but you put it right back where it was. Like they said, just someone talking about something they don't know about.

You know how to use truck forums, yet you went to a GM dealership to ask about modifying your truck? Thats kinda backwards eh?

Nope, no modification needed anyways.

i was just tryin to get ideas from more then one source. the dealer i went to does alot of custom work on trucks so i thought it wouldnt hurt to go talk to them. i just wanted to see if what they said made any sense, which apparently it doesnt. thanks for the insight though!
