I'm wanting to do a 5/7 drop on stock 20s or 22s not sure yet, but what's the best setup to go with? Strut on a truck is new to me lol I've had obs and nbs trucks haha, also what's the best size tire to go with on a 22 or 20? These trucks have some huge wheel wells! Here's a pic of my new and old truck

A few guys on here have 4/7 drops on stock 20s. Maybe they can chime in on tire size

I'm 4/7 and 275/55 rubs. A 275/50 would be great. I used to have 275/45 and it didn't rub at all but there was also more fender gap so I dropped it down to 4/9 lol. And I was still pretty level believe it or not. Maybe a half inch of Cali

I have McGaughys. So do a lot of others in here.
Drop spindles are supposedly really solid, only thing is my turning radius blows. Kris Ash over at Sport Truck Pros says the Bell Tech's have a better turn radius.
I'm using 2" spindles, 2" coil relocators and a flip kit. Aligns fine.
At 5" up front you're probably going to want to buy the Belltech camber bushings and cam plates because you may have a problem getting aligned to factory specs.
