Well the day to retire the 4.hate is finally here. I've been searching the California insurance auctions and found this truck. It's a 2016 F-150 CCSB 2WD. It's has a 3.5L ecoboost with the electronic locking rear diff. Has just under 4300 miles on it. Needs some work on the exterior but the interior is brand new. Still has the new car smell.

These first photos are from the auction company.

First "mod" will be clear headlights since both headlights need to be replaced.

I'm throwing around the idea buying the morimoto fog lights they make for this truck since I'm going to have to buy a new one. Only one of the two survived the impact.

So what's the damage? Salvage title? Looks to be a fun project.

Yes it is salvage title. Right now it looks like the two frame horns are damaged but those are easily replaceable. Already bought new kit from the ford dealership. Took the truck to a frame shop today. They are going to start working on it on Monday.

The first stage is get the truck back to 100 percent original. The previous owner stuck to what looks like a leveling kit on it. So that will stay. Then drive the piss out of it.

Stage 2 will be some go fast parts.

Stage 3 might be fauxraptor with midtravel

LOVED the morimotos I put on the Colorado. Amazing output. If I ever get around to ordering a new bumper with fog holes for this truck, I'm def getting them.

Sweet looking truck. If you had to guess the percentage you saved on this truck buying it wrecked versus buying it new, how much would you say you saved?
