Not sure if right section.
My buddy wants to buy this nitrogen tank off me but I don't know what I should ask. Suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

I am not sure how full, maybe only a little. When I release it comes out. It was out of a bagged Lincoln I bought but I never used it and po was an idiot and couldn't tell me about it.

If I had to guess probably $250-300ish. I've never priced the tanks. I believe the regulators are pretty expensive if I remember right. Like $90.

Wow, OK cool. Thanks! I didn't even think about the regulator (honestly didn't know what it was called, though it was just a gauge ha!). I'll probably just tell him 180 or so. He said he would help when I'm ready to bag my hoe.

Do you know how big the tank is? It should say somewhere on it. I had seen a couple tanks on Craigslist with regulators for around the price that I said idk if that's cheap or expensive lol. But $180 seems like a good price.

Looks like a 200 series bottle. Regulator ranges with an average price of $100. Bottle is however completely worthless if the company name has been grinded smooth. He will have to hopefully get lucky and find a place that will refill that bottle (unlikely) or open an account with airgas, redball, or local welding supply company and they will trade him for another full bottle and he will pay the price of content.

Check the Dot number. Should red 3AA and some numbers afterwards. Usually a 2015 is a owner cylinder. If there is not a name around the ring of the cylinder is also is possible to be a owner cylinder and not a company owned unit.
