Question

But if he is have it given to him, wouldnt 200 bucks be an ok ammount to spend on a nav unit? I mean the factory headunits these days are getting pretty well appointed.

Not worth it. Pretty sure the DVD player needs the Bose amp to work. I thought I remembered someone who made an interface kit for like $200 but then you will still need VSS harness, GPS antenna, etc.

If it were me, I'd just get an aftermarket unit.

Thanks. Was my little cousin he was given me everything so I was like hell for free if it would work why not.

I'd definitely run it if you could get everything you need for a decent price. I just think you'd probably end up spending a decent amount though between the amp/wiring, programming from a dealer, and the harnesses. But I'll agree, they are well appointed and they look better than any aftermarket unit IMO.

Thanks for the help. See if I can get that stuff to lol
