Bagged NBS Thread (99-07c) Pics & Discussion

Well now that I've got my bed and checked everything over. I'm going to let everything be known. I wanted to tuck more wheel. So I inspected under the cab and clearance sections and discovered I could body my truck 2" and not have channels in the floor, no cutting of the tranny tunnel, and no cutting of my bedfloor. Of course I moved all the mounts 2.75" down because i don't want to redo that later if I do decide to lay rocker later. All in all I do not regret only doing the work for 2" lower.

That's perfect imo. I wouldn't really want a truck that laid rocker unless a) it was a full time show truck that didn't get driven much or b) i didn't car much about the condition of the body. That sits absolutely perfect to me.

Bag location. Your holding the weight of your truck half way on the bar half way off. U need to center the bag on the bar. To do that your going to have to notch and clearance the frame for the bag.

That didn't happen to you last night. That's been going wrong ever since the truck was bagged. You are just now seeing the issues of the setup you have.

My firstt bagged truck i done so i was thinkin my life was over lol

Not really sure what that says your bag maybe center front to back of the bar but it's definitely not centered side to side. The center of the bag needs to be center on the bar not half of it hanging off. When it's hanging off, the bar twist cause there's no support under half the bag.

it appears you bought the nfamus wishbone but i'm not sure where the lower bars came from because nfamus does not sell those in their kit. My advice would be to change the bag placement to where its centered on the lower and and change the axle tabs out while you're at. they look a little on the thin side. If you're against pocketing your frame, then run Firestone F9000 taper sleeve bags off the back of the axle.

Yes on the wishbone and the bars from ekstensive they look rusted cuz i sanded them down for paint but left for 7 months and barely go back to it

Ekstensive built those powers bars and didn't center the bag on the bar? That's why I stay away from them. I feel like there is a lot better shops than them now days

Got some adjusting to do on the bumper side braces, but the bumper cover and grille have to be repainted so they have to come back off but had to get a pic
