Bgrays winter time waster

Got the spindles. Ended up calling Tim and getting them from him. Lesson learned there.

Coil coils down to 6" drop with spindles. Haven't taken it off the hoist, but its all back together with the hotchkis back on.

do you have mcg 16" on your crew? hows bumpsteer? i always heard that the 16" are good but im just not convinced that its gonna make that big of a difference over 17"?

I have 16" on my cc and there is 0 bumpsteer. Shityounot. I took off 17" spindles from this truck for that very reason. I havent driven it yet cause old man winters dusty balls have been blowing around.

Rear is flip kit, Belltech SP, Hotchkis rear sway, Cal tracs, 2" lowering shackle. Truck handles amazing. Very surefooted

Good info. I've heard sways + caltracs outback make for a stiff ride. I'll start with just a sway bar.

If that was done intentionally disregard this post. but I believe the ball joint is supposed to be relocated to the top of the control arm vice below, where it is in the pic if I'm seeing it right.

well fuck me right. When i was putting it together i tried racking my brian the best i could to remeber. The spindles didnt have the instructions so I took a stab at it.

Suppose it wont be an issue, either ither works fine for my setup. My truck can never have anything smaller then 20's on the front, so i dont see it being an issue. If i move it now it will drop the truck even more i suppose

what do you guys think?

Bj needs to be on top of arm. This provides the extra 1" drop for the spindles. The spacer goes in the factory balljoint spot to add structural support to the arm. Brandon you should currently have 1" drop spindles.
