For sale is a 6-lug full size spare tire/rim that should fit all Chevrolet 6-lug trucks. Came off my friends 1996 Chevy 1500. Tire is Firestone SteelTexRadial LT245/75R16 (Load Range E) and has about 25% tread left. Cash only,no trades. Dfw area or you pay shipping. Thanks.

Actually, being that it is an OBS wheel, it won't even fit on any NBS trucks. OBS wheels hit the calipers on the front by the lugs, they won't bolt on. You can put NBS or even NNBS wheels on a OBS, but not the other way around.
 
Try it. You'll see. You can probably put an OBS wheel on if you have spacers, if not it will hit the caliper.

so just to summarize,

OBS wheels can fit on a 99-03, but you need to run huge wheel spacers, or grind the live shit outta the calipers. Neither are suggested.

99-03 NBS wheels will not fit on a 04+ truck, because of the change in brakes.

04-present will fit on OBS-present trucks.

That's what I've got so far.
 
Tony pretty much hit the nail on the head. Except that only some of the 04's have the larger brakes. Many 04's use smaller brakes and 16 inch wheels. In 05, all of the trucks came with bigger brakes and 17's unless it was a HD truck.
