Shot this at the last Cars & Caffeine. When I first walked by, the hood was closed but I knew something was up since the car had slicks on all four corners. Swung by about 15 minutes later and the hood is popped and the owner is there. I start talking to him about the car and it's actually a pretty cool story.
He's in college for mechanical engineering close by, but drives back home to Mass every couple weeks. On the way home, he swings by the dragstirp and scrounges whatever tires he can, spoons them on in the parking lot, and drives home. It was pouring rain on the way there and back. This dude was a fucking legend on a budget.
Build is a forged Gen 4 aluminum 5.3, LSA blower on 11.5psi, Muncie 4speed. He said he's eventually going to spray the car. No numbers or times, he just beats the piss out of it and has fun. Definitely my favorite car there this time around.
