I've never done a c-notch, but seen plenty of pics and vids. Is it necessary to remove the bed when c-notching? I ask because i'll be doing this on my own.

It's very simple, use the opposite side turned around backwards to mark the notch, then cut it out, put the correct side in place, clamp it down and drill holes then bolt in

Is this the best way to mark for notch? Or is there a more precise way to do it?

Probably the best way to do it imo. Mark it SMALLER than what the notch is so you can trim it more accurately after the first cut. That's what I did to get mine to fit well.

Finally able to post my notch.

Flip Kit, C-notch(gives it about a 1 3/4" notch) plus a 1 " lowering shackle.

Now the pumpkin hits before my axels do. Shit
