Ben here,
I heard about the Shreveport meet from my buddy TJ. He has the cammed black '08 rcsb with the tinted signal headlights.

I was at Fant for a short while but didn't stay too long. I had been helping a buddy relocate his meth tank in his vette and was still in my nasty work clothes lol.

Anyways, here's the short on my rig...
'02 black rcsb step side. SBE 5.3:
VRX3 cam, Circle-D 3200, servos, 4.11/tru-trac, e-fan, dyno tune, tbss intake, fast 92 tb, 243 heads jobbed and milled .030, TSP 1 3/4 x 3" longtubes, ORY, to a single 3"x14" magnaflow bullet dumped before the axle.

Welcome from minden. I believe I seen you post up on lsx monsters before. And I saw your truck at the meet sounds sick man
 
Welcome man! Don't think I met you but good friends with TJ as well and saw your truck. Glad you joined up :shake:
 
Lots of clean trucks at the meet. Where was the majority of everyone from? I only recognized a handful of S'port/bossier trucks.
 
All over...some from the surrounding Shreveport areas then places like Longview, Monroe, New Orleans, near Houston, Dallas, etc. etc.
 
Welcome from Longview! I saw the truck, sounded perfect. After you left I wanted to know your exhaust setup but nobody knew lol. Now I do

How do you like that 80e swap? How bad did it kill your 60'? Well you're a lq4 so it probably didn't do much timeslip damage.
I have one at PATC. They're waiting on me to give them the go-ahead to build it.
This 60e is lasting a lot longer than I expected. I think it's beginning to show signs of failure though.

Hate the 80e. I think I don't like it because of the converter I have. Stalls to 2800 instead of 3400 like I wanted. Just bogs down our of the hole. I have an lq9 too, just feel like my truck should be faster for what it is. Eventually I'll go back with a PATC 3400 like I had in my 60e.. If you do an 80e make sure your converter is how you want it. That's my main complaint.
